This client recently moved to Utah from out of state and just finished building their dream home. They brought in our team to unpack their belongings and get them started off on the right foot. Their main goal was to ensure the home felt organized, with a seamless flow where they could easily find exactly what they were looking for. We elevated their beautiful modern space with expert pantry organization, making it both stylish and functional.
Since the home is located further away from many store conveniences, it was especially important for the family to have everything well-stocked and easily accessible. We focused on creating a cohesive system throughout the entire home, with special attention to pantry organization and other key areas to make sure everything worked together smoothly.
The design elements of the home included stunning garage cabinetry, convenient lockers by the entry, and an open floor plan connecting the living room, kitchen, and dining area. One of the standout features was the butler’s pantry, which even had a mini door connecting to the garage for easy grocery unloading. Ensuring that this pantry was efficiently set up with strong pantry organization was essential to achieving the family’s vision for convenience.
PANTRY
In the pantry, we embraced an organic look with baskets and wooden accents to create a natural, welcoming atmosphere. The family leads an active lifestyle, so their pantry included a variety of protein powders, collagen, and health products. We decanted these items into glass jars to streamline the space and support efficient pantry organization. Additionally, their drink fridge was fully stocked with a variety of their favorite beverages.
We organized snacks for their daughter and dry dinner goods inside the pantry drawers, using drawer dividers to maintain a clean and tidy look. Hidden appliances and kitchen items were stored away to keep the area clutter-free. Turntables were also utilized for supplements, enhancing pantry organization by making items easily accessible, while drawer dividers ensured snacks stayed neat and orderly.
KITCHEN
The client wanted the kitchen to reflect a sleek and minimalist aesthetic. To achieve this, we used custom Salt by Sabrina acrylic inserts for organizing both everyday utensils and kitchen tools. This focus on streamlined storage extended the pantry organization approach into the kitchen area, ensuring everything had its place. We made sure that drinking glasses were easily within reach, alongside daily dishware, to maximize convenience for the family.
On the opposite side of the stove, we decanted spices into moody black spice jars, chosen to complement the cabinetry’s dark finishes. For optimal functionality, we used 9” turntables to organize oils, vinegars, and canned goods, bringing a balance of style and practicality to the cooking zone.
CREATING FLOW
The overall layout of the kitchen and pantry was carefully thought out to ensure a functional flow, making daily routines easier and more efficient. By focusing on pantry organization as a central part of the home’s design, we helped the family create a space where everything—from health supplements to dinnerware—could be easily accessed without sacrificing style.
This kitchen and pantry were both beautifully designed, with the client going the extra mile to ensure they were as functional as they were aesthetically pleasing.
